Minutes for LSARC meeting of September 8, 2018

     Meeting was brought to order by Walt, WA6LII, at 2:00pm at First Christian Church, 763 Passion Play Rd.  Eureka Springs, AR.

     Minutes from the August meeting, Fred moved to accept as read, Rudy seconded, “I”s were unanimous, minutes were accepted as appearing on the web page.

     Treasurer’s report was given by Walt, old balance was $986.47   After utilities and coax were paid and dues collected the new balance is $848.53.  Terry moved to accept as read, Fred seconded, “I”s were unanimous, treasurer report was accepted.

     Old Business: 
     None

     New Business: 
     Parking lot project at Cornerstone Bank in Eureka Springs on November which is a Sunday.  A sign up sheet was passed around for signatures.  We need 2 for each 3 hour tour in the upper lot and 2 to 3 for the lower lot.  Hat’s will be our main means of communication. 
     We will need to form a nominating committee at the October meeting to pick the club officers for next year. 
     Our Christmas party will be help at the First Christian Church on Passion Play Road and the date  will be December 8 and will be a pot luck which will be something to look forward to.
     We are ready to move the 440 antenna up higher on the tower when we can get a climber, John, from Shell Knob and a crew of us to assist.
     Finally Mary Ellen reported on John Wall’s procedures at the Mayo Clinic in Florida and the tests go on and on.

    Meeting was closed at 2:32 pm and dinner was served.
