Meeting was brought to order by Walt, WA6LII, at 2:05 pm at First Christian Church, 763 Passion Play Rd.  Eureka Springs, AR.

    Minutes from the June meeting, Jim KC0GDV moved to accept as read, Fred WB9ONV seconded, “I”s were unanimous, minutes were accepted.

    Treasurer’s report was given by Walt in the absence of Susan KA3MEX. After utilities were paid and dues collected the new balance is $1,006.27. someone moved to accept as read, someone else seconded, “I”s were unanimous, treasurer report was accepted.

    Old Business:  Walt added a deadbolt to the repeater building.  He set it to the same key as the regular door lock so if you have a key it works on both locks. He also sprayed herbicide  and there were no leaks detected around the building. And there were 2 power failures from the grid but our backup power worked fine.

    New Business:  Rudy and Walt drought up the need for LMR-400 coax for our 440 repeater so we can raise the 440 antenna 15 to 20 feet higher on our tower.  Cost of 100 feet is $140.  Length needed was increased to 110 feet to be safe.  Rudy moved to buy the coax and Jim seconded the motion.  “I”s were unanimous, motion passed.

    An alternate location for our monthly meeting was discussed in the case the church is not available. Fred suggested the Elks Club in Holiday Island, Anna will look for a suitable place preferably along Hwy 23 for ease of finding and more central to members.  

    Meeting closed at 2:26 pm and food was served.
