Meeting was brought to order by Rudy Behrens at 4:09pm at First Christian Church, 763 Passion Play Rd.  Eureka Springs, AR.

Minutes from previous meeting  were not taken due to lack of quorum.

Treasure’s  report: usual bills paid for utilities, ending balance $778.65.

Old business:
     Edwin Miller was voted to be taken off of the club roster of members. Rudy along with Terry Dean went to repeater site to check on solar panels left outside our building and stored properly inside.  John Wall confirmed that he did cancel the order for accessories for the panel installation. It was decided that the solar power will not be a cost saving to emergency power for the site and that our 3 deep cycle batteries, already on hand will suffice.  We will sell the 3 panels for best offer, They cost us $110. each.  Lloyd my want to buy the panels
     The “Epic Power Gate” will be used to automatically switch our repeaters from the power grid to the batteries and back whenever needed by failure of the power grid. We also need a controller to remotely silence the repeaters when necessary.  These 2 items were not finalized.

New business:
     A nominating committee of Terry Dean, Susan Wall and Fred Willman were chosen to nominate club officer for 2018.  Our upcoming classes for technician class license will be on Saturdays, 4^th and 11^th of November at the church but down in the basement.  Rudy will not be available to open the church for the classes but can share the key with one of us.  Lots of “stuff” from Lynn Holden’s ham shack is available at the repeater site for anyone who shows an interest or it will be trashed. 

     Next meeting scheduled for second Saturday of November, 11^th at the usual time.  It was decided that our club Christmas party will be held at the church on December 9 and it will be a potluck AND due to the evenings getting dark a lot earlier we will start the party at 2:00pm in order for folks to get home before it gets too dark.

     All items were properly moved, seconded and voted on at the meeting.
